About me
Sicilia Cipalla, RDMS
Hi, my name is Sicilia Cipalla. I am a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer and graduated from an accredited ultrasound program in 2022. I am registered in Vascular, Breast, Pediatrics, Abdomen, and OB/GYN.
I have had the privilege of working alongside both human and veterinary radiologists, which helped grow my passion for diagnostic imaging and patient care. Through these experiences, I had the opportunity to bring ultrasound on wheels to veterinary practices.
My goal is to support veterinarians by providing high quality diagnostic imaging directly in their clinics, helping improve efficiency and provide accessible patient resources for animals where I have grown up, coastal North Carolina.
Helping others has always been my passion, and by Gods grace I am grateful to be able to serve both veterinary teams and the animals they care for in this community.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my own dog, a hound mix and my boyfriends, a golden retriever, who remind me each and every day why caring for animals matters so much.

Send & report
Images and cine loops are labeled, uploaded securely, and sent to a PACs system, ready for a board certified radiologist review with STAT or routine options.
Sedation decisions and client communication always remain under your direction. We work as an extension of your medical team—not as a separate service line.
What your team provides
- Designated exam space and standard power outlet
- Access to recent labs and prior imaging, when available
- Client consent signed and a sedation plan (if indicated)
- Primary clinician to integrate findings into diagnosis and treatment plan
Board‑certified interpretation for every study
How images are sent and read
Studies are uploaded securely to our teleradiology partner, where they are interpreted by board certified veterinary radiologists.
You may choose between STAT and routine review. STAT cases are prioritized for rapid turnaround, while routine studies are typically reported within standard business timeframes.
Final reports are delivered back to your practice by email and portal, ready to attach to your medical record and share with your clients.
Radiologist group
Fission Veterinary Teleradiology, a team ACVR Board Certified veterinary radiologists, provides interpretations for our exams.
Their reports emphasize clear differentials and recommend next steps.
